I have really got to remember to blog more! I hate playing catch-up because it's already happened and it seems kind of like old news! But, I guess you still read it so it doesn't really matter!

I recently turned 24!! I had a wonderful birthday and am very blessed to have a wonderful Husband, family, and friends!

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to blog more and I've hardly done it! I can't say it's from not having enough time. I guess I just haven't been doing too much so I haven't had anything to blog about! So sorry to my loyal blog followers! I really am trying to do better!

On another note, we are thinking of taking a trip to the beach this year with a couple of our friends! We could uses some help, if you have been on a beach vacation where did you go and would you recommend it to us? We want to go to the beach but have no clue which one we want to go to! Any help is appreciated!

Today has been a pretty good day! Unfortunately the Hubby had to go back off to work today :( but other then that it's been a good day! Tonight I started on my attempt at crocheting! It's going ok but not as easy as it sounds. I also watched the Bachelor! It looks like it's going to be a very dramatic season! HAHA I just love watching this show! Anyway I just wanted to write a quick post! Hope you all are enjoying the new year!

I hope you all had a fabulous New Year's Eve. We went out to eat with friends and then had them over and played games to ring in the new year! I'm so glad 2011 is through and I can get a fresh start in 2012! I just know this is going to be a GREAT year and I ate my black eyed peas today so that's surely gonna bring me some luck ;) I hope you each have a blessed year!

New Year's Resolutions!

The past few years I haven't made any resolutions but for some reason there is so much I want to accomplish this year so I'm making a list!

1. Read my devotion everyday

2. Learn to Crochet

3. Make sure I give out birthday cards this year

4. Cook at least one recipe a month from my new Paula Deen Cookbook

5. Work on couponing more

6. Blog more

7. Take more pictures

8. Accomplish all of my resolutions

I probably have more resolutions that I just can't think of right now!

2011 was a rough year for us and I can't wait to start a fresh and brand new year! I hope each one of you have a terrific new year! What are some of your New Year's resolutions?

Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! On Thursday night before Christmas Heath and I opened our gifts to each other. We never seem to have time on Christmas day so we just decided to do it when we want to! I got him a gun and he got me the new KINDLE FIRE!! I love it!

Christmas Eve was spent at my in-laws! I have no pictures to post because all of my pictures have the new children they are adopting in them and they can't be posted until after they are officially adopted. Anyway, I got a laminator, which I really wanted so I can laminate things for my piano students. Heath got some thermal underwear and we each got a stocking filled with candy! We definitely enjoyed watching the kids open all of their presents.

Christmas morning we went to my parents for breakfast and to open gifts there. I got clothes, a case for my new kindle, Paula Deen Cookbook, a case that will play music from my IPhone, and we each got season passes to Silver Dollar City in Branson! Heath got a coffee pot that's like the Kuerig coffee pots, some coffee for it, pajamas, and the IPhone thing too! We had a wonderful morning.

After Christmas at my parents we headed to our church where we do Christmas with my Mom's aunt's and uncles. We eat lunch and play dirty Santa! This year I finally got these crochet angels that my Aunt Mildred makes! They are the gift everyone wants!

After that we headed to Heath's Grandparents! I always enjoy spending time with Heath's grandparents since I no longer have any that are alive.

We managed to make it home around 6 and then a couple of our friends came over for a little while and we played Phase 10!

I haven't posted since before Thanksgiving! How terrible of me! I hope I still have some loyal followers! A lot has been going on! I decorated my house for Christmas and I was going to post pics of all my decorations but just decided on the Christmas tree and stockings since I've waited so late!

I have some exciting news! I'm going to be an Aunt! My brother and sis-in-law are expecting a baby! I'm so excited for them! Also, my Husband is getting 3 new siblings! His parents are adopting 3 children and they are just terrific!

As you can see I've been pretty busy! Since I most likely won't be blogging again until after Christmas I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Day 22- I am thankful I have a job! So many these days are not so lucky!

Day 23- I'm thankful tomorrow is Thanksgiving!! I can't wait to eat all that yummy food, spend time with family, and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade!! It's always a good day!

Day 19- today I am thankful to be a football fan! I love that the Hubby and I can watch games together! I'm also thankful that Arkansas will most likely be ranked #3 in the poll!! Yay!!! I love my Hogs!!!

Day 20- I'm thankful that this week will be a short week! I can't wait for all that yummy thanksgiving food! We get to have thanksgiving with my family on Thursday and Heath's family on Saturday!! I love all of our family!!

I got a little behind so now I have to play catch up!

Day 16- I'm thankful for the Internet! I love being able to be connected to family and friends that don't live close to me! It's nice to be able to still see and catch up with them!

Day 17- I'm thankful for the ability to coupon and get great deals! I know some people think couponing is a waste of time and only crazy people coupon but I can tell you not all of us are crazy and you can get some good deals using coupons!

Day 18- I'm thankful it's the weekend!! It's been a rough week and I'm thankful it's Friday and hoping for a good weekend!!

Today I am thankful for rainboots and jackets!! It has been pouring here today and since I had to get out for work I'm thankful I had rainboots, an umbrella, and a jacket to keep me dry! I would have been soaked otherwise!

Thankful for the Weekend! Day 13!

Today I am thankful for a great weekend! We had a great weekend and I'm so thankful that I get to experience such great weekends!

Saturday I competed in a Pageant just for fun! HAHA! It was pretty fun to get all dressed up! I won Most Beautiful Hair, Most Beautiful Smile, and 1st Alternate. I got 3 sashes, a snowflake necklace, and a crown.

That evening the Hubby killed a deer!! YAY!! He didn't take any pictures so I have none to post

:( I'm so happy for him that he killed one! It's been a few years since he has and I can't wait to eat some deer meat YUM!!

So while the Hubby was hauling in his deer and getting it ready to be processed I was home watching the Razorbacks beat Tennessee with Holli!

I'm so glad my Hogs won this weekend! Love my Razorbacks!!

After the Hubby got in we headed to my Brother and my Sister-in-Law's to play some games and hang out! It was great to spend time with them! My brother works weird days so we don't get to get together too often.

Today, I sang the Star Spangled Banner at church to honor all of our Veteran's. I then spent the afternoon cutting out coupons and relaxing until time to leave for the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Class I am taking. Unfortunately, Hubby had to head back to work today :(

Today I am thankful for my car! I may complain about my car but at least it has gotten me where I want to go and continues to even with all the problems it has! I'm very blessed to have the privilege to have a vehicle where as some are not so lucky!

On today 11-11-11, I am thankful for all Veterans! Anyone who has served, is currently serving, or anyone who will serve in the future! Without you our country would not be what we are today! So today on Veterans Day I want to say Thank You for making huge sacrifices daily!

Also, I would like to ask my blogger friends to please say a prayer for some special people today! A woman in our church is having brain surgery right now so I ask that you say a prayer for her and continue to pray as she has a long journey ahead of her! Thank you!

Day 8 - I'm thankful to live in America where I can freely do things like go to church. We may complain but we do have it a whole lot better then other places.

I kind of got a little behind! My best friend had this beatiful baby boy on Wednesday and since I was at the hospital all day it through my blogging off! Thats ok though I would much rather have been there!

So I'm starting with Day 2 to get caught back up! Day 2 I'm thankful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have had quite a few months and am so thankful that he has been by my side through it all and that I know he is always there no matter what.

Day 3 I'm thankful for my sweet puppy Holli! She's my partner in crime and always there to snuggle with!

Day 4 I'm thankful for my Mom! I know without a doubt she is always here when I need her and without her I wouldn't be who I am today!

Saturday I walked in the Race for the Cure with my church. It was our 3rd year to walk and as always it was a lot of fun. Our team was 8th in the churches that raised the most money. We were pretty excited to have achieved that goal!

It's been pretty rainy all weekend! Friday night the Hubby and I stayed home and relaxed. Saturday night we watched the Razorback game at our house with a couple of friends and of course my sweet girl!

She was sleepy! HAHA! Today I haven't had a very good day! This morning was church and we had a fundraiser for our Race for the Cure team! We did really good and raised over $400. This evening I had financial peace class and the Hubby had to go back to work :( I'm thinking it's going to be a busy week! Hopefully it will be a good one though!

Last weekend we went to the Razorback game in Little Rock. It was a lot of fun! We didn't actually go to the game we just tailgated and ended up coming home to watch the game on tv. Here are some pictures from the day.

YAY!! It's Friday! This week has flown by thanks to Monday being a holiday! I'm looking forward to this weekend! Tonight we will be gearing up for a full day of tailgating at the Razorback game tomorrow! I'm so excited I can't wait. So since I'm going tailgating I am definetly in the Razorback mood! I have found some adorable Razorback stuff on Pinterest. I wish I could have all of it! HAHA!

Getting Caught Up!

Where have I been? I have been so busy and just haven't really felt much like blogging! When I do get on the computer most of my time is spent on Pinterest. I know it's very addicting. I also finished reading The Hunger Games! I loved it! It started a little slow but was soo good after you got a little ways in!

Today was a little cooler weather. It made me anxious for football, soup and chili, fall scentsy scents, snuggling under the blankets on the couch, and all the other fabulous things that come with fall! As long as it doesn't get too cold!

I'm in love with my brand new IPhone!!!! We both got new IPhones this weekend and I love it!! It's the first one for both of us LOL! If you know of any cool apps that I just must have let me know! HAHA!

Baby You're A Firework!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Let me start with Friday!

Friday- I worked until 4 and the Hubby had to shoot a fireworks show that night! So I went out to eat with my Mom and we did a little shopping!

Saturday- This was Heath's 27th birthday! We went to eat at a mexican restaurant with my parents and a couple of our friends.

Sunday- I headed to church that morning. After church some of our friends picked me up and we went to watch the Hubby shoot another fireworks show! Here are some pics....

Monday the 4th- We relaxed a little and got ready to go to my cousins house for fireworks and food! HAHA! It was a lot of fun!

Crazy Weekend!

Friday night while the Hubby went fishing I went shopping with my Mom. I got some new shoes!

Like?

Saturday during the day we had a family reunion. It was nice to see everyone! I forgot my camera so I have no pictures :( I know soo sad!

Saturday night when we were just about to go to bed our friend called and said their baby was on the way. So we loaded up and headed to the hospital! We sat at the hospital from 1:30 am to 9:30 am!

Here's the Hubby and the Dad to be on the other couch Chris, in the waiting room! It was about 3! Thankfully I had my trusty Kindle to keep me company! :)

Little Kinley Dallas finally made her appearance at 9:03! She weighed 6 pounds and 3 ounces and is absoultly adorable!

After meeting Kinley we headed home for some much needed rest! We spent all day relaxing and sleeping haha! It was well worth it though!

Mini Vacation!

Thursday and Friday the Hubby and I went camping with my Mom and Dad. It was soo nice to get away for a little while even if we weren't that far from home. When we got there and were unpacking and setting up the camper this deer was right in our campsite.

It just stood there and watched! It even came back several times!

I took Holli and my Mom brought her dog Sammy and my brother's dog Thumper!

Here was Holli's favorite spot! She loved looking out the door!

Heath and my Dad got to do a little fishing on the river! It was soo pretty!

Thursday night we had a delicious dinner!!

On Friday we went to the fish hatchery!

He was feeding the trout and they were going crazy!

This weekend was pretty laid back not too busy. We really didn't do anything until Sunday. We had a baby shower for a friend whose baby is due July 2nd. Here is what we got them.....

I went to our water park with my cousins and enjoyed soaking up some sun! It was a great start to the weekend!

Saturday I spent some time with this little cutie.....

Then the Hubby and I went over to a friends house for a cookout.

We had a blast and enjoyed being with our friends.

Today I haven't felt very good so I've stayed home all day and relaxed! It has been one terrific weekend even though I'm not feeling well!

Memorial Day Weekend!

We have had one terrific weekend!! First of all I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our service men and women!

*Friday*

The Hubby smoked some tenderloin and potatoes at my parents house and it was sooo yummy!

*Saturday*

We really didn't do much at all. It was nice to sit around and relax some!

*Sunday*

I sang the National Anthem at church in honor of the service men and women. After church we headed to a fish fry with some people Heath has worked with. It was a lot of fun. Sunday night we hung around the house and enjoyed some tv time.

*Monday*

We had a cookout with my family and that was pretty much it.

We had such a relaxing and fun weekend! I hope you all enjoyed yours!

This week I did my couponing again. Here is what I bought.....

Bad Day :(

To start my wonderful day I woke up feeling terrible. I decided after I was feeling a little better to run to Dollar General for a couple of things before the storms came through. On my way back from town a piece of the trim on my car came flying off. It scared me to death! I turned around and went back to get the piece. It wouldn't fit in my car so I had to call the hubby to come and help me! Thankfully he came to my rescue pretty quick. I was about to cry after I had already woke up feeling awful! He put the piece in his truck and we came home.

When I got back, I came in to my poor baby Holli with a poopy butt! So I had to give her a bath. While I'm giving her a bath the storms start popping up. We've already had our first tornado warning and I really hope this stuff doesn't last too long. I can't take much more today. I really hope my day gets better and not any worse. I really think I should just go back to bed and start over again. I can't though because of this weather :( Hope you're having a better day then I am!

Hubby and I went to the driving range today! Mind you I've never played anything other than putt- putt golf! It was a lot of fun and nice to spend some time outside. I did hid a few balls and some of them were pretty good but I don't think I'm turning pro anytime soon! HAHA!

I have really been out of it lately blah! I don't really know why I haven't been blogging just haven't! First of all I want to say to please pray for all of the storm victims out there! It's super sad and scary.

I thought I would play a little catch up! Last Tuesday my church women's group had their annual Mother/Daughter Banquet. My Mom and I did the decorations, everyone brought some kind of dish, and we had a short devotional, a game, and a reading. It was really fun and glad to see all the people that don't normally make it to meetings get to come. I have posted some pics of the night!

This past weekend was pretty good!

Friday it rained (OF COURSE)! So we stayed home! It flooded our yard for a few hours. It actually got pretty high and I was getting nervous!

Saturday, My Mom and I went grocery shopping! I'm trying really hard to learn this coupon thing so if you have any tips please share! That night the Hubby and I went out to eat at Red Lobster with some friends! It was a lot of fun and nice to see our friends!

That's pretty much our weekend!

Who is excited about The Bachelorette?? I am! I just love watching this show. I'm not so crazy about Ashley but oh well I think the show will be good.

Anyway, that's about all I have for now. I'll try to do better and post more often. I guess I just don't have too much to talk about lately LOL! Have a great week!

Wheel of Fortune was in town this weekend looking for contestants for their show. So my Mom and I went to try out! You fill out a piece of paper and they randomly draw people to come on stage. My Mom got chosen!!!!! She didn't get any letters or solve the puzzle but she got some super cool stuff! She got a tshirt, hat, bag, water bottle, and a magnet. I however did not get chosen :( it was tons of fun though!

My total before coupons was around $15.00 I got it for a GRAND total of $1.50!!!!!! I was super excited! I thought I did pretty good for my first time! I'm slowly learning!

Mother's Day Weekend!

Friday night the Hubby and I went out to see Fast Five with a couple of our friends. It was really good. I love all the Fast and Furious movies.

Saturday the hubby mowed the lawn while I relaxed inside hehe! We had a lazy night and didn't do anything exciting. I just laid on the couch with my kindle and read while he watched tv.

Sunday we spent with our families enjoying Mother's Day. It was such a gorgeous day and I even got told Happy Mother's Day for being the best Doggie Mom! HAHA! It was a terrific day.

Today has already been a busy day! I gave one piano lesson and headed to buy some stuff for supper. Tonight instead of reading I really need to work on finishing writing my song but I will probably end up reading. I'm addicted to my kindle! I found this adorable case that I just have to have from Vera Bradley. The only problem is there are so many cute designs I don't know which one to choose. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Easter 2011

I am finally getting to post about our Easter weekend. That Saturday night we stayed home to rest up for the big day. I dyed some Easter eggs for my little cousins to hunt and just because haha!

Sunday we got up and went to church. I sang in our church cantata and it was such a joyous time. After the service we stayed at our church for our regular family Easter lunch. We also took some pictures. Here is the good one....

I just loved my dress. I can't wait to wear it again. After pictures and lunch we hid eggs for the little kids and watched them hunt them. It was so much fun.

I received this as a gift from my Secret Sis. It is a huge bag and was filled with some Easter eggs filled with candy. So cute! I love it! I just haven't gotten to use it yet! Everyone said I had the biggest Easter basket lol!

April Showers Bring May Flowers......

At least we can hope! It has rained all day and our road was blocked this morning because of flooding so I couldn't go to church or to my two cousins birthday party. I missed some exciting news at the party too! Turns out I'm gonna have another cousin!! So excited for them. I finally watched some of the Royal Wedding today! I loved it! Fairy tales do come true! I totally wish I could wear one of those awesome hats. How cool were those? Anyway, since I was rained in today, I cleaned house and did laundry. Exciting I know! As I was cleaning I happened to notice that the date on my calendar had been changed.

My silly sweet Hubby changed the date to our anniversary. Haha sorry babe, not for another month! It totally made me smile!

Since it rained there was no helping with tornado clean-up today. I have a video below of our town. It makes me cry every time I watch it. Make sure you turn on your sound.

It seems things are looking up a little. The News has declared Osama Bin Laden dead and I can only thank our troops for their hard work. I just pray for our country as this changes things. Our little town is slowly coming back together. We will, and we will be stronger for it! If only the rain would go away maybe we can get back to happier days. Hopefully this will be a much better week.

Tornado Cleanup - Day 4 & 5

*Friday*

I slept in a little bit on Friday. After I got up I headed to help. Apparently it was the day of the radio stations. Two local stations were out there and it was just weird for them to be there. My Mom and I decided to go over to what we call the Old Gym, which is where most of the supplies for people are, and help there. We folded and sorted clothes and packed them in boxes to move to another location. It's been so nice to be able to help in some way. My sweet hubby has been out everyday cutting wood and he is soo tired. You just can't help not to help though. You feel bad when you don't.

*Saturday*

My Mom and I actually took some time for ourselves today. We decided to go to Toad Suck. It just wasn't the same but at least we got away a little. I got some yummy fried pickles and we split a fried twinkie (YUM) and fried smoochies (hershey kisses). It was delicious. After that we came home and took some friends that had stuff to donate to the people they were giving the items too. It was nice to rest a little. It is raining now and they say we are going to be getting tons of rain the next couple of days. So probably won't be doing much work. Anyway, that's all the info I have for now. Please continue to pray for the tornado victims.

Tornado Cleanup - Day 3

Today has been a hard day for me. Why I can't really say. I did the same thing as I did yesterday. I am pretty sure being soo tired is not helping the situation. Today it was so hard to get into our town. Even residents had to be issued a badge. Everyone is working so hard to clean-up our little town. I think the main reason I'm having a hard time is because I was called inconsiderate for not letting a car get down a road. I really wanted to say that they had no idea if I had lost anything or how much I have been doing to help. It really really upset me and people should think before they speak. I really don't want to be thinking about this tornado and the damage. I would much rather be getting all excited about the Royal Wedding and about the town nearby us' annual Toad Suck Daze Festival. Instead, pretty much all I can think about is how so many have been affected by these storms not just here in Arkansas. Please pray for everyone effected. Here are some more pictures. Tornado Cleanup - Day 2

It's day two of our horrible disaster. Today my Mom and I went around the community to pass out flashlights, batteries, food, water, and just whatever we could. Heath and my Dad helped with tarping roofs on houses and also with cutting up trees with chainsaws! I am so amazed by all of the support our community is getting and from places I never would have imagined. It's just incredible. I am so proud to be a part of our community and the fact that we are all pulling together in this time. I still cannot believe all of the damage that has been done to our town. I'm just heartbroken over all the destruction. Please continue to pray for our community.

This Is My Reality!

This will probably be the longest post that I have ever made! I would really like to post happy pictures of our Easter and talk about happy things but I can't. Last night a tornado hit my hometown. Luckily my whole family was safe and only a few had damage. It has always been a fear of mine to have a tornado hit my town. I never imagined the damage or the feeling that I can't even recognize some of my town. I'm just so thankful that everyone of our family is fine. Sadly four people were killed in our small town of Arkansas. I'm so sad for the ones that have basically lost everything and for the ones that lost their loved ones. Here are some pictures from the downtown area and these aren't even half of the damage done to our town.

I tried to post this yesterday but blogger wouldn't let me :( so here it is a day late!

We had a pretty good weekend! On Friday I made this yummy dinner and we spent the rest of the night watching the new Harry Potter Movie! It's pretty good!

Easy Peasy Chicken Alfredo Recipe:

1 pkg. Tyson Grilled and Ready Chicken Strips

Half a pkg. of fettucini noodles

1 jar of Alfredo sauce

First boil the noodes according to the package. While the noodles are boiling cook the chicken strips according to it's package. When the noodles and chicken are both done mix them together and add the Alfredo sauce. Heat for a few minutes and it's ready to serve!

On Saturday we had a lazy afternoon, that night we went to eat at one of our favorite places called Fuji's it's a japanese steakhouse! YUM!! After that we met up with a couple of friends and went bowling! It was a lot of fun!

Today was church day and we had communion tonight at church. It was very good and makes me ready for this week leading up to Easter.

Speaking of Easter I decided to post the few Easter decorations I have in my house! I wanted more but just didn't buy any :( oh well it will due for this year!

Well, I'm sitting here listening to the thunder and the rain and hoping that we don't have any bad storms tonight! I hate storms! There are tornado warnings popping up everywhere though! :( Hopefully it won't get too bad! Anyway, lately I have just not really felt like blogging! Just had other things to do and nothing to really talk about! Cake class is going good, we are just learning to make the different flowers so I have no pictures of big cakes to post. I went shopping with my Mom today so we could get our Easter dresses! I'm soo excited about mine! I can't wait to wear it and post pics! I just have to buy some shoes and jewlery to go with it! I also gotta find an Easter shirt for the Hubby, I mean we both gotta look good! I have done laundry since about 5 this evening. I decided to wait to fold and hang them till I had them all done! Probably not the best idea since they are now piled high on my couch and I'm on my last couple of loads! HA! Oh well, I don't know if you got much from this post! I think it's mostly crazy ramblings from me! HA! Have a great Friday guys and an even better weekend!

Home and a Finale!

First off, Heath came home this morning from Mississippi and surprised me! I'm glad to have him back home!

Last Monday was my Mom and I's final beginner cake class! We had to make a finale cake and it could be anything we wanted! I made a flower!

The icing on the side isn't the best since we were in a hurry and didn't have much time to finish! I think it's really cute though! We start our next class making flowers on Monday! I hope my flowers turn out good! Just thought I'd stop by for a quick update! Don't worry there is plenty more to come and this weather is beautiful outside! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

A Little Update!

As I told you before I am taking a cake decorating class with my Mom. We decorated our first cake for my Aunt's birthday last Sunday. It's a Razorback cake of course! Don't be too critical it's our first one.

Our second cake decorating class we actually did make a cake! This is the one I made.
I think I could have done a little better but it's still not bad!

This week is cupcake week! YAY!! Who doesn't love cupcakes?

On Thursday I took a trip to Wye Mountain with my cousins. Wye Mountain is a Daffodil festival that has hundereds of daffodil's it's just beautiful!

A New Adventure!

My Mom and I recently decided to begin learning how to decorate a cake! So we signed up at my favorite store, Hobby Lobby, for the Wilton Cake Decorating Classes. Our first class was Monday night and we learned the Star technique and got to decorate some cookies. So without further ado here are my cookies.......

I think it's pretty good considering it's my first time ever doing something like this! Next week we actually are doing a cake and we have to make buttercream icing (YUM)! I'll be sure to keep you updated in our progress!

I had foot surgery when I was about 12 and I can't stand to go without shoes afraid I will step on something! I do take them off occasionally! HA! {five} who would you call first if you won the lottery?I would call Heath and then my parents! {six} have you ever been in a food fight?Nope or at least I don't think so! {seven} do you snore?Nope! {eight} do you know how fast you type?Nope I do type pretty fast but have no idea how fast that is! {nine} can you do a headstand (without using the wall)?I can't even do one using the wall lol! {ten} how do you like your popcorn?Buttered and Salted just like the movies!

Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On!

It's 12:30 am here and we had a 4.7 Magnitude Earthquake at 11:00 pm. For Arkansas this is crazy! We never have things like this but recently a part of the state has been receiving quite a few of them. This is the first one I have felt since I was about 13. They said this is the biggest earthquake to hit in Arkansas since 1976! Crazy!!! Plus there was a 3.8 aftershock 20 minutes later! I'm never going to sleep tonight considering that we have tornados supposed to hit around 3 am! Only in Arkansas can you have tornados and earthquakes on the same day! WOW! I kinda feel like Cloudy with a Chance of Earthquakes LOL! I'll update about my weekend later for now I'm going to try to relax and pray there are no more earthquakes and no tornados tonight!

We had a fabulous weekend and I have been soo busy that I haven't been on the computer much! Saturday we went out to eat and played games with my family and then on Sunday for the Super Bowl we went to a friends house to watch the game! Here's a pic from that night...

Tomorrow we are expecting a huge snow storm. Ok for Arkansas it's huge! Where I live is expected to get 6-8 inches of snow which never happens. I do know now why people up North where it snows all the time make fun of us! Half the state is already shut down for tomorrow and there's not even any snow on the ground yet! I know it's crazy! This is the most snow we have had even predicted in a long time. I guess people are going nuts LOL! Oh well some kids get a day off even if it doesn't snow! I'll be sure to update you with what happens! Anyway that's all I really have so see ya next time!

Ingrediants:

1 Package Knorr Chicken Flavor Rice Side

1 Can or Chicken or you can use a chicken breast cut up and cooked.

Make the Rice according to the package. When you are to do step 2 on the package add the chicken to the pan. Finish the steps on the package and......

We have had a very busy weekend! Friday night we had friends over for a game night! We played Apples to Apples and laughed soo hard! It was soo much fun. My Birthday Weekend!!

Friday morning we got up and headed to the Arkansas Big Buck Classic with my parents. It's a hunters dream lol! They had tons of hunting gear but they also had a few girly things like purses and jewelry. It was really fun! We got there way early so we headed to the mall and to eat lunch at Genghis Grill before it opened. They had all kinds of cute animals. Here are some pictures I took with my phone.

That night we decided to go play games with Heath's parents. On the way home the Hubby hit a deer. Thank god it didn't mess up the truck to bad!

Saturday was my 23rd birthday! I spent most of the day being lazy. We went out to eat at Olive Garden with some friends and had a blast. It was a fabulous birthday.

To Bored To Blog....

HAHA!! I haven't been doing much lately and so I blame not blogging on being bored! HA! Anyway, did ya'll watch American Idol last night? I must say Steven Tyler is my new favorite judge! Not just because I absolutly love him but I love how hillarious he is on the show! I can't wait to watch it again tonight! The Hubby and I have also been watching The Bachelor! We LOVE Emily! She's just the sweetest! Have you heard of the show Storage Wars? Where people go and buy storage units that people have quit paying on or something and then make like thousands of dollars from the stuff in them. It's crazy! I would buy one and it would just be filled with junk! That's the kind of luck I have! HAHA! Ok enough about shows!

When do you decorate for Valentine's Day? I want to decorate like next week but is that too early? I've never really decorated for Valentine's so I don't know!

Oh yeah, remember when I posted last week about snow! Guess what!?! We got more today! YIKES!! It's still snowing outside but not to much is on the ground! I would prefer it not to make the roads bad because I have a lot planned this weekend since it's my BIRTHDAY!! Oh well, guess we will find out!

SNOW DAY

It started snowing yesterday at around 4:00 and continued till around midnight. Needless to say we didn't go anywhere do to snow and enjoyed playing outside in it today and some last night. Holli however didn't really like the snow. She just sat there and wanted me to pick her up! LOL! The Hubby and I built a snowman and played around in the snow though! It was a lot of fun!

I have been using an awful lot of these this week! Unfortunatly doesn't look like we will be doing to much this weekend! :( I was hoping to get out some because we are supposed to be getting some of this.......

Sunday afternoon into Monday! I don't want to be trapped inside for a whole week or however long but I do want to build a snowman and play in the snow a little bit! Maybe just a little snow but not enough to trap us at home for days! HA!

You may have heard that our quaterback Ryan Mallet is putting in for the NFL Draft! As much as we will miss Mallet we are proud of him and hope he continues to play well in the NFL!

Anyway just thought I'd blab a little because I have nothing better to do than sneeze my head off! HEHE!! Have a GREAT weekend!!

This New Year's Eve we spent it at my Brother and Sister-in-Law's house playing games! It was soo much fun! We played Rock Band, Apples to Apples (love that game), and games on the Wii! It was a hillarious and fun time!

Weekend Fun!

We had a terrific weekend! Since I uploaded my pictures wrong on here I will start from the end of the weekend ha! Sunday morning was the childrens Christmas play at church! They did such a good job and afterward we had lunch at church and the kids got to open their gifts from their teachers! Some of my sweet kiddos got me this adorable ornament.....

I also got a monthly planner and some coasters from my secert sis last year!

Saturday- We took both mine and the Hubby's parents to see Trans-Siberan Orchestra for their Christmas present. It was a terrific show and we were on the 14th row! We have been in the past but never on the floor! It's an amazing show and you should go see it! Here are a few pics from the concert!

Friday- We had a couple of friends over and played some games!

It was a terrific weekend! Can't wait for the coming up weekend! I mean Christmas is always great!!

Last Sunday I took Holli to Petsmart to have her picture taken with Santa! She did not like it at all! She just wanted her mommy!

This is the best we could get of her licking her nose! HA! I love it though! The pictures cost $10 and $5 of it went to a Humane Society.

I realized I haven't blogged about my Christmas decorations yet so I thought it would be a good time!

Branson~Christmas~2010

This past weekend we took a trip to Branson, Missouri! My Mom and Dad came up on Thursday and left Friday night and we stayed until Saturday afternoon. We had lots of fun! I took tons of pictures and couldn't post everyone of them so I posted my favorites!

Thursday we drove up and went to Silver Dollar City. If you've never been you should go it's a whole lot of fun!

My Best Friends Wedding

This weekend my maid of honor got MARRIED!!! I was the Matron of Honor in hers! It was a beautiful wedding and I'm soo happy for her and Josh! Here are some pics of her big day! Some I edited!

Thanksgiving Weekend!

We started Thanksgiving off with lunch at my Aunt's house! After lunch we headed home for a bit and then headed to eat supper with another side of my family! I didn't take many pictures for some reason so here is a pic of my Hubby and my little cousin!

After dinner I rested up and then my Mom and I went shopping at midnight! It was CRAZY but we got lots of great goodies! I got a pair of boots originally $60 for $20!! I was so excited!
After a busy day of shopping I relaxed the rest of the day to get prepared for tailgating at the Hogs games on Saturday!! We got up bright and eary to head to the game!! It was soo much fun and the HOGS BEAT LSU!!! WOOO PIG SOOIE!! We are hopefully going to the Sugar Bowl!! Sorry LSU fans!!

I'm officially a GLEEK!! LOL!! I recently started watching Glee and have fallen in LOVE with it!!

I must admit at first I didn't really like the show and had to watch it a few times to really like it! So far my favorite song has been the Singing in the Rain/ Umbrella song!

I LOVE it and can I say I'm totally shocked by Gwyenth Paltrow!! I mean who knew she could sing! I guess you never know what talent a person is hiding!

Everybody's Living for the Weekend!!

We had a pretty laid back weekend!! The Hubby of course went hunting most of the weekend since it was the first weekend of modern gun season here in Arkansas. However, he didn't see anything to shoot :( Saturday I went shopping with my Mom to get some Christmas decorations for my home! I didn't really get to decorate last year and I want everything to be perfect this year! After shopping I relaxed on the couch and watched the HOGS beat UTEP!! WOOOO PIG SOOIE!!!

Sunday I helped give a wedding shower for my bestest friend Sarah who is getting married December 4th. I'm super excited about her wedding! She was Maid of Honor in mine and I am Matron of Honor in hers!

1. This past weekend we watched the Hogs beat South Carolina! I was pretty excited they won!! Sorry South Carolina Fans!

2. Who else really wants to put out their Christmas decorations? I really don't want to wait but my rule is to decorate the day after Thanksgiving!

3. Speaking of Thanksgiving......... I've decided to have a Thankful Thursday for this month! Each Thursday I will blog at least one thing I'm thankful for in honor of Thanksgiving! I thought it was a good way to not lose sight of the real reason for Thanksgiving!

4. I'm considering starting another idea! Tasty Tuesday where I will blog a recipe each week! Not sure yet it's just a thought!

Halloween 2010

We had a terrific weekend filled with friends, family, and fun! We dressed up as race car drivers and went out with a few of our friends Saturday night!

Sunday night our church had a fall festival and my Mom and Dad dressed up!

My Dad is a pirate and my Mom is an Indian! All the kiddos looked soo cute in their costumes!

All in all it was a GREAT weekend and I can't believe it's already November!!

First let me start with Holli's injury!!

She fell off the recliner this weekend and must have pulled a muscle in her back leg! She hoped around for hours after it happened and now if she thinks she can get attention she will hop on it! Silly Girl!
